The movie production and distribution company A24 has revealed it's working with Kojima Productions on the upcoming Death Stranding live-action film. The studio has presented t-shirts with its logo in the game's style to celebrate the announcement.

"Share your excitement with our new DS-inspired A24 logo tee, featuring a custom A24 x Kojima Productions woven label."

A24 is known for distributing Everything Everywhere All at Once, one of the most popular movies of 2022. It's also significant for artists as it was created using surprisingly simple techniques. For example, the bagel threatening to destroy the multiverse is actually a giant donut made in Blender, and the cool cooking scene with Harry Shum Jr. was done in 2D using Adobe After Effects' paintbrush.

Apart from this project, A24 was also behind Lady Bird, The Whale, The Witch, and more.

The Death Stranding film is financed by Hammerstone, with Kojima Productions US and Allan Ungar serving as executive producers. It's expected to be "an authentic 'Hideo Kojima' production," and although Kojima himself is not directing it, he's deeply involved in producing, supervising, and other sides of development.
