E3 Ubisoft 2015 Conference

Ubisoft was at E3 today and had a great presentation of games that are coming out. It was breathtaking to see the trailers and gameplay for these titles and I was left on the edge of my seat in excitement. Full of amazing graphics and new gameplay, here’s what Ubisoft had to offer.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole

Matt and Trey Parker started the presentation off with a sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth. They swore they wouldn’t make another video game again, but around the end of the last game they made, is when they learned how to actually make a good game. It was for this reason they decided to work with Ubisoft San Francisco to create a new South Park game, The Fractured but Whole.

For Honor

Now this game had my heart pounding out of my chest. Reminiscent of Dynasty Warriors, For Honor allows for two teams of four players to fight against each other in huge battles. You can either be a Knight, Samurai, or a Viking and join alongside your fellow comrades to take over or defend territory. It is still in development but I can’t wait to see what this game has in store for us.

Tom Clancy’s The Division

This game reminded me of the multiplayer from The Last of Us, XCOM, and Left 4 Dead. With a team of four, you try to get to an extraction point safely to get picked up by helicopter. In the demonstration, at the last moment one of the members decided to kill his teammates to get their loot. This is an interesting feature to this game. The beta will be available next year on Xbox One, Ps4, and PC.

Just Dance 2016

Available in October on all platforms including PS3 and Xbox 360, Just Dance 2016 will not require a camera to play anymore, you can actually use your smart phone. That was interesting news. The most random thing though was that Jason Derulo went on stage and performed his song “want to want me.” Anyways, besides that there is something called Just Dance Unlimited, it is the first ever dance on demand streaming subscription service. People with Xbox One and PS4 can subscribe to this.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

With the star power of Angela Basset (Boyz N the Hood and Malcom X), this new Rainbow Six gameplay looks amazing. You can play solo or with up to four friends. Basically, you are either terrorists or the good guys. If you’re a terrorist you create a stronghold and lead a deadly bombing assault. If you’re the good guys, you raid the stronghold and try to disarm the bomb. The game has fully destructible environments and is nothing like I’ve seen. The beta starts September 24, 2015 and is available on all platforms.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Set in 1868 during the industrial revolution in London, this is the first modern Assassin’s Creed game. You lead a street gang and try to steal from the greedy and corrupt to give back to the people, kind of like Robin Hood. You can signup for a chance to play tomorrow.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

In huge large open worlds, there are many weapons and vehicles and people to take out. With great graphics and cool looking environments, I cannot wait to see what this game brings.
