Singapore-based indie game studio, Mixed Realms Pte Ltd, known for the acclaimed Hellsweeper VR and Gordian Quest, is back in the spotlight. With Hellsweeper VR earning 'very positive' Steam reviews and Gordian Quest scoring an impressive 89 from 4,800 reviews, they're now poised to launch their latest project, 13Z.

13Z presents an appealing yet challenging premise. You find yourself amidst the Zodiac Trials, a celestial battleground where hopeful animal spirits clash with formidable demons and existing Zodiac Guardians. The ultimate aim? To claim the title of the 13th Zodiac. This isn't a journey for the faint-hearted, but a rugged quest demanding grit, agility, and power.

You can take on the form of six different animal spirits, each presents a unique playstyle to master. Be it the nimble Fox with its swift swordplay, the high-flying Raven with its deadly precision, or the powerful Panda with its earth-shattering might — the choice is yours. 

The game's upgrade system encourages you to enhance your chosen animal spirit's abilities, unlock powerful modifiers, and adapt to the ever-changing challenges.  

13Z offers multiple game modes, including a single-player experience for those who prefer a solo trial. For those who enjoy collaboration, the co-op mode allows 2-4 players to tackle the trials together. The game also introduces the intriguing "God Mode," where one player assumes the role of 'God', controlling the flow of the Trials.

Despite its intricate mechanics and challenging gameplay, 13Z welcomes all skill levels. It's a call to test your mettle against hordes of foes and formidable bosses, each boasting unique challenges. Whether you're a newcomer or a veteran of the roguelike genre, this celestial trial of power, speed, and resilience offers something to enjoy.
