CLO Virtual Fashion has officially shipped Marvelous Designer 2024.1, a new and improved version of their renowned 3D clothing design software, bringing several novel features designed to accelerate your workflows and enhance production efficiency.
The highlight of the update is the newly added texture and graphic generators, which leverage AI to enhance texturing workflows across prints, mosaics, and basic textures, simplifying the visualization and conceptualization of designs in Marvelous Designer. Additionally, the AI graphic generator allows users to input keywords, producing a selection of texture images to choose from and build upon for their designs.
Moreover, the 2024.1 update adds a novel PBR map generator, eliminating the need to manually create PBR maps. This tool allows PBR maps to be automatically generated and applied from imported texture images.
On top of that, the release introduces seamless integration with Unreal Engine 5.4, enabling the export of garment simulation data to USD files and providing access to 18 default MetaHuman body types in the asset library, unlocking a wider range of customizable look options and adding dynamics to your UE environments.
