CD Project and Techland veterans from Reikon Games announced a rich action game, set in a gloomy neon future. It runs on UE4.
Devolver Digital knows a lot about great games. This publisher has some of the best indie titles in its portfolio, including Hotline Miami 2, The Talos Principle, Luftrausers, OlliOlli 2. Not they have another potential super-hit to announce. It’s called RUINER and it’s being developed by a small team Reckon Games.

All the developers on the team are very experienced. It kind of shows, since the game looks absolutely AMAZING! Check out this trailer.
RUINER is a brutal cyberpunk action shooter with top-down camera. The game is set in 2091 in the cyber metropolis Rengkok. You play as a “wired psychopath” who fights the system and saves his kidnapped brother. There’s a hacker friend to spice things up a little, plus augmentations, weapons and different gadgets.
The Reikon Games team is thrilled to work with Devolver Digital on our debut game. RUINER is a game we’ve been working on for quite some time and have wanted to make for even longer

The game’s music is written by Khoven, DJ Alina, and famed anime composer Susumu Hirasawa (Paprika, Millennium Actress). The whole projects is actually heavily inspired by anime. The visual design is top notch. Animation and special effects are amazing. We want to play this as soon as possible. As you might have guessed, the game is running on Unreal Engine 4 and the team was awarded with Unreal Dev Grant.
RUINER will be released on PC, Mac, and Linux in 2016. Can’t wait.
