LogInA spin-off graphic novel called "Fallen Asteria" is on its way.

Recently, an award-winning third-person shooter, Returnal, turned 3 years old, so Housemarque commemorated the big date by revealing a spin-off graphic novel called "Fallen Asteria." Scheduled for release on October 22, 2024, the novel is currently open for preorders on Amazon, priced at $19.99.
"After the spaceship Helios crashes onto a hostile alien world, Selene Vassos, a lone ASTRA scout, must fight for her life against the horrific hostiles that live beyond every shadow.
Following a trail of distorted memories, Selene just needs to hold on long enough to track down the White Shadow signal. Mystery shrouds the world of Atropos, and she begins to wonder: will she find answers at the end of her journey, or is this nightmare inescapable," reads the description on Amazon.
In addition to the graphic novel, there will also be an animated version adapting the initial portion of the fresh narrative.
Accompanying Fallen Asteria is The Art of Returnal, a 224-page deluxe hardcover, showcasing concept art of the dynamic biomes and menacing foes along with commentary from the game's creative squad.
Returnal: Fallen Asteria and The Art of Returnal will hit bookstores on October 22, 2024, and comic shops the next day.
