20 Japanese Switch Games Use UE4

Epic Games has revealed that a wide number of games, powered by Unreal Engine4, is coming to the new Nintendo console.

Gameinformer, reports about a very interesting thing about Unreal Engine. According to the recent  on a Automaton (translated by Gematsu) Epic Games Japan’s Takayuki Kawasaki announced that there are over 20 Switch titles using the Unreal Engine in the works from Japanese developers.

These games are being made in Japan, they use Unreal Engine and they rebelling created specifically for Nintendo Switch. Kawasaki believes there will be more games in the future, cause the company wants to make sure Switch has support for free version of Unreal Engine 4. However, to release the game on Switch, you will also need a Switch development license.

There’s not that many games for Switch now, so this UE4-partnership could really help Nintendo to grow the game library on the system.
