Those animations look amazing!! Great job!
Very cool review of the making of Spellbreak. Would be even more cool to see some videos inside UE4 showing how they do a few very specific things unique to them.
This was so helpful for me. I'm hoping to adapt your tutorial to pull off something similar comparing modern satellite imagery with historical maps. No topo, so my steps should be simpler, but I'm a novice with Blender and you've really helped. Thanks!
Take a look at a set of 24 seamless fabric materials at 4K resolution by Travis Davids. The pack comes with a Substance Painter material for each fabric. All materials are said to be scanned and enhanced with Substance Designer.
The set includes diffuse, normal and roughness maps.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE AT LEAST USING VERSION 2017.3.0 OF SUBSTANCE PAINTER BUT ACCORDING TO SOMEONE THAT TESTED THE MATERIALS THEY DO WORK IN EARLIER VERSIONS.
I still wouldn’t recommend these for extreme closeups. They are fine for close to mid range.
Yes, these materials could certainly be used for some clothing projects, but you could also used them for environmental props like blankets, curtains, carpets and other assets.
