Have you heard about a website called Share Textures? It is a platform with numerous free sets of photographic textures under a CC0 license, including ground materials, flooring, concrete, metal, plaster, and fabric.

All the textures here are said to be provided at 4,096 x 4,096px resolution, including diffuse, displacement, normal, specular and ambient occlusion maps in TIFF or PNG format.
