More countries can now buy cheaper Autodesk licenses.
Autodesk has recently added 15 more countries to its Indie program, and 3ds Max Indie and Maya Indie are now available in 46 countries worldwide.
The Indie program is now available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.
Please note that the Indie plans are not available in Hong Kong and South Africa, but users can buy via a reseller there.
For those of you unfamiliar with the initiative is meant for 3ds Max and Maya users with gross annual revenue from design work of under $100,000/year. The Indie licenses cost around $250/year. You can learn more about the program here.
