The tool allows users to create a snow effect for the whole scene or individual objects.
Crea3D released SnowEffect – a 3ds Max plug-in that allows you to create a global snow effect for the whole scene and cover selected objects with snow. The tool can also change the amount of snow in the scene and bump/displacement size.
The creator says SnowEffect was tested with V-Ray and promises to adapt it to other render engines soon.
Aside from SnowEffects, Crea3D has made other useful tools such as Textures2Materials, which can turn multiple textures into materials; Materializer, which creates materials mixing different templates; Dirtizer, which can make your materials dirty; and other handy 3ds Max plugins. You can see them all here.
SnowEffects works with 3ds Max 2011 or higher and costs $19. Check it out here and don't forget to join our new Reddit page, our new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
