6 Million Copies Sold: Detroit Is Quantic Dream's Best-Selling Game

Detroit: Become Human became the best-selling game of all time for developer Quantic Dream.

Originally released in 2018 for PS4, the project has managed to sell 6 million copies in total. The number also includes 1 million copies on PC. Quantic Dream also noted that the game became the fifth most-streamed PC game on PlayStation Now for Spring 2021.

"Despite the sanitary crisis going on, 2020 was a very strong year in terms of growth for our studio," Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere said. The manager also noted that 2020 was a record year for Quantic Dream speaking about revenue.

Quantic Dream is not a PlayStation exclusive partner anymore and they began publishing games in 2019. They also decided to fund Eqqo developer Parallel Studio's next game and co-produce Red Thread Games' new game called Dustborn.

The company is also developing an unannounced AAA game in its studios in Paris and Montreal. Don't forget to join our new Reddit pageour new Telegram channel, our Discord, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
