Check out universities.80.lv for some of the best game schools for game developers.
Over the last 3 years, our team here at 80 LEVEL worked with a lot of students from some of the best schools in the world. To help them find their way we’ve compiled a list of some of the best schools for you to study gamedev.
Be warned these are not schools for VFX or 3d art. It’s for people who want to work with gamedev. We’ve tried to gather some comments from the faculty staff of some of the schools and let them talk about their schools and their programs.
Overall, we really hope you will find this list useful and we’d be happy to update it yearly, increasing the list, updating the leaders and highlighting some of the more amazing places where you can learn how to make games.
It’s our first effort in this kind of analysis, but we hope with time we can make it even more precise and turn into a reliable guide for students.
