A Closer Look at Shatterline's Escort March Level

Roman Agieiev shared a comprehensive overview of one of the levels from Frag Lab's recently-released game.

Senior Environment Artist at Frag Lab Roman Agieiev recently shared an in-depth look at the starting location of the Escort March, one of the levels from Shatterline, the studio's recently-released fast-paced FPS with dynamic gameplay, a co-op mode, and several traditional PvP modes.

In his overview, Roman, who was responsible for modeling, texturing, polishing, and optimizing the level's rocks and natural landscape, showed how the environment was taking shape, explained how dirt tracks and pathways were set up, and spoke about using Megascans' scanned textures to make the level look realistic and immersive. According to the artist's ArtStation post, 3ds Max, Substance 3D Painter, and ZBrush were also used in the making of this level.
