Tired of Zoom and Discord?
Most people are now using Zoom, Skype, Discord, and other apps every day to work remotely during the coronavirus crisis. It turns out there's an alternative.
Author and artist Viviane Schwarz shared her experience of hosting her team's meetings in Red Dead Redemption 2.
"I am a freelance artist specializing in interactive projects," she told Bored Panda. “We got very tired of Zoom and missed having meetings and going out.”
“It takes about an hour to set up and unlock the free play mode,” Viviane told us. “The servers seem to go down quite a lot when logging on,” Schwartz said. “It only makes sense if everyone has a compatible console or PC. It is an open-world game, so anyone can interrupt your meeting -- however, they can’t overhear your voice chat.”
