One of the fans of the game series, 2D illustrator and concept artist Caro Oliveira, decided to imagine what the critically-acclaimed game would look like as anime. Oliveira reimagined several moments from The Last of Us giving them a new look and we have to say that we'd love to get the full animated version.
The artist managed to capture the spirit of the characters and at the same time give them a fresh unexplored look. Oliveira has also shared a process video for those who want to dive deeper into the art.
We haven't heard about the official plans to launch something animated based on the game but the good news is that The Last of Us is being recreated as HBO's new TV series. The show is managed by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, with Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, and Nico Parker as its main stars.
