A Look at Blockouts in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

New footage reveals how Respawn tested level design ideas.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order development team from Respawn Entertainment has recently shared videos with a behind-the-scenes look at levels in the game. You probably know we love to study level design and this is another great chance to dive into AAA production.

The game was originally released last year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. To celebrate the anniversary and the Blocktober event (a little late, but we're glad they did), level designers from the team shared development footage on Twitter.

The footage shows how they approached the conceptual stage and tested different level ideas to see if different mechanics work.

    I love this game...it's one of the best Star Wars games ever. My only gripe is that it's full of bugs and it seems that the game needed to cook in the stove a lot longer. The game needs to be polished and severely stabel.
