A Reddit User Created Conway's Game of Life in UE & Niagara

The well-known cellular automaton has been recreated in 3D by a redditor.

A Reddit user NEED_A_JACKET has managed to recreate Conway's Game of Life in 3D. According to the author, the entire project was made using Unreal Engine and Niagara. This is not the first time the Game of Life was created in 3D but the result looks cool nonetheless.

For those unaware, The Game of Life, also known simply as Life, is a cellular automaton devised by the British mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970. It is a zero-player game, meaning that its evolution is determined by its initial state, requiring no further input. One interacts with the Game of Life by creating an initial configuration and observing how it evolves. You can learn more about it here.
