A Sneak Peek at Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay

The developers shared a new gameplay showcase and revealed some details about broom flight, combat arenas, and more.

Avalanche Software released a new video where it showcased the gameplay of the upcoming action PRG Hogwarts Legacy and revealed some details about broom flight and combat arenas and shared a look at The Room of Requirement.

The game is set to feature the open world and broom will help you to travel across it visiting Hogwarts' outskirts and other areas flying above beautiful highlands, swamps, and fields.

The developers noted that players will be able to choose their own broom at a broom shop and will have the ability to upgrade their brooms during their visits to Hogsmeade. Also, the owners of the Deluxe Edition of the game will have access to a special Onyx Hippogriff, which allows players to fly in a different style.

The game will feature three battle arenas – two of them will be normal arenas that everyone who purchased the base game can access but the third one, the Dark Arts Battle Arena, will only be available for owners of the Deluxe Edition. In the video, the developers focused on the latter arena revealing some of its perks. As in every other arena, players will be able to try out their dueling powers, however, the advantage of the Dark Arts Battle Arena is that characters will be preloaded with different abilities.

Finally, the devs provided players with a glimpse at The Room of Requirement – a personalizable home within Hogwarts where players can brew and grow things as well as care for some beasts. Inside the room, players will be able to change the architecture and design of it by choosing tables, rugs, statues, banners, etc. that reflect your character's personality. The Room of Requirement will be a useful space where players will upgrade their gear, add defensive magic to clothes, examine items, and prepare potions.
