nice blog but here is the thing, what is wrong with overlaping uv's and mirroring them, what are the cons of overlapping them and why is this method better in the case of uv? thanks

Thank you @Fcardoso The volumetric light is available in the latest 2018.3 beta. In the visual environment setting, there is a new option to select Volumetric light fog. The screen I shared is from 2018.2 during that time I was using a script to enable it :)

Add-on for Hard Surface Modeling in Blender
26 August, 2018

Jayanam has presented an updated version of his hard surface Blender addon for quick and easy boolean and bevel operations. Basically, it’s a great timesaver, so watch the video and go grab it on GitHub.

“I updated the addon Fast-Carve to Blender 2.8 for hard surface modeling, boolean operations and beveling.

You can get the addon for free from my GitHub from this branch.

In the video, I show the basic features and also the Python API changes that I used to migrate to Blender 2.8″

Make sure to discuss the addon in the comments below.
