Andrea Pessino from Ready at Dawn has shared an introduction to the Modulator crate and its playground/testbed application Modulator Play. 

Do you want to animate some geometric figure? You could script and animation, but it will get boring, so you’d probably want to use the procedural way for randomness, precise control, unexpected behavior, and dynamics. You also need beauty and attractiveness, of course. 

Modulators provide all the properties with complexity, depth, and more for your visualizations. Basically, it’s an effective and easy way to get exciting results.
