An Organic Centipede Animation Set Up in Houdini

The author utilized Vellum Hair and KineFX to create the project.

3D Technical Artist and Houdini enthusiast Mattias Malmer continues the series of fantastic Houdini-powered projects with one more outstanding piece. This time, the artist presented an organic and realistic-looking centipede animation, driven by Vellum Hair simulation fed with animated KineFX skeletons. In the future, the author also plans to experiment more with friction for the setup to have better traction.
