Doing 2D style in 3D space is a one tough challenge, but the results are worth it. Imagine recreating manga-like effects in 3D. Sounds surreal, right? The thing is that it’s actually possible. VFX artist Chiba Akihito has a mind-blowing collection of effects that perfectly captures the spirit of anime works.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to break down the magic here as all the descriptions are in Japanese, but you could use Google to understand some rules.
