Apple Joined Blender Development Fund

Another huge company decides to support the development.

The Blender Foundation, the maker of the open-source 3D creation tool Blender, revealed that Apple has joined the Blender Development Fund as a Patron Member to support so core development of the toolkit.

"Alongside a contribution to the Development Fund, Apple will provide engineering expertise and additional resources to the Blender HQ and development community to help support Blender artists and developers," noted the team.

Previously, a number of other huge companies decided to support the open-source toolkit, including Ubisoft, Adobe, Epic Games, and other teams. What do you think about the current state of Blender and the upcoming release of Blender 3.0?

    I think it is good that apple finally joins the blender fund. I cannot see any disatvantages in supporting as many OSes and graphic APIs as possible?

    Absolutely NOTHING good can come from this. Blender has just signed its death warrant.
