Ghost in The Shell flopped at the box office, but it became one of the most beloved projects in the artistic community. This project was actually created by a trio of amazing artists, whose contribution to modern commercial art is amazing.
First, you’ve got Vitaly Bulgarov – a 3d production monster, who’s currently working as a Creative Director at Black Sky Symmetry. Any 3d artist knows Vitaly’s works. He worked for Blizzard, Industrial Light & Magic & Intel.
Secondly, you’ve got Ash Thorp who created the whole concept of 3d ads for the Ghost in The Shell film.
And last but not least you’ve got Maciej Kuciara – incredible concept artist, who worked with Riot, Dreamworks and created concepts for Kong: Scull Island, Captain America: Civil War, Gods of Egypt, Cyberpunk 2077, Crysis, Alien: Isolation and so many others. We’ve actually talked with Maciej back in the day and recorded and interview with him. It’s a real dream team of artists.
