Artstation is on a killing streak this year. The company has already launched a global partnership with Gnomon, promoting various courses. It’s got blogs for you to publish your content. And today we’ve learned about the company launching a digital store! It’s still in alpha, and there’s not a lot of content available, but we’re confident soon you’ll buy all of your amazing stuff through Artstation.
Artists will be able to sell digital products from their ArtStation profile and their portfolio website. The Product Manager will be simple and easy to use – very similar to the portfolio manager. A Sales Report and Payout & Earnings tab will also be available for users to track their performance and revenue. At first, you will be able to sell any digital downloadable products: Tutorials, 3D models, Brushes, Materials & Substances, HDRI’s, Stock Photos, Tools.
The best thing is that the artists get a 95-80% cut of the total profit, which is unheard of in the digital marketplace business. It’s an awesome way to get some extra money and even build a business.
