Artstation Masterclasses: Learn Art for Gamedev
22 June, 2018

Artstation and Gnomon are bringing a very interesting set of 10 masterclasses from industry professionals, who can help you learn some interesting tricks and improve your skills.

The greatest thing about these new courses is the choice of instructors. Brian Recktenwald from Naughty Dog will teach you modular environment design. Rafael Grassetti will discuss the way he produces awesome characters with ZBrush. Nate Stephens will share some of his thoughts on a combination of Substance Designer and ZBrush in your workflow. Plus, there’s Josh Lynch, Dominic Qwek, Eddie Bennun, Furio Tedeschi, Miguel Martinez and Tony Bratincevic.

Brian Recktenwald: “I was responsible for modeling, scene assembly, photogrammetry, and set dressing. Textures and materials by Adam Marquis. Lighting by Mark Shoaf and Huan Tran. Design by Derek Chatwood.”

Raf Grassetti and Dela Longfish did the design of Atreus, also knows as “BOY!”.

Toni Bratincevic creates awesomeness for Blizzard. This is one of his personal projects.

Seriously, these guys are awesome. Just hear them talk is a great learning experience. But you actually get more than just lectures.

The event is backed by Gnomon, so you can be sure about the quality. You will watch the lectures at your own pace and have access to a 2 week Q&A with the all star lineup of instructors. You will be able to join your peers from August 6th to 19th, 2018. The ticket costs $250. This is the Early Bird Price that ends on July 2nd. After that the ticket will cost you $325. So if you feel like you want to do it, now is a good time to buy. Students, who are currently enrolled in a full-time educational institution, can get an additional 10% off!

You can check all the details over at the official website.
