AvizStudio has revealed ASnapshots, a new tool for 3DS Max that lets users save the current state of any object as a snapshot. The snapshot is said to include the base object type, modifiers, and the materials. You can then reapply a snapshot to the original object, or even any other 3ds Max object, to restore versions.
A free version of the plugin includes all the core functionality, while the Pro version (to be released soon) also supports the following features:
- Load any snapshot to multiple targets.
- Save a snapshot from other scene objects into the selected object.
- Set the “Save snapshot filters” to include/exclude the base object, the modifiers or the material.
- Set the “Load snapshot filters” to load only the base object, the modifiers or the material.
You can learn more about the tool on AvizStudio’s website.
