Battlefield V Revealed

Battlefield is going to tell the story of World War II again.

Battlefield is going to tell the story of World War II again. DICE held a livestream today, showing the first glimpse at the newly announced Battlefield V which will tell “real stories about men and women who changed history”. Battlefield V will be released on October 19 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Here’s the first trailer:

Battlefield V’s single-player campaign will revolve around a set of War Stories, each about a different part of World War II. Co-op is back, but there’s also a brand-new multiplayer mode called Grand Operations.

Battlefield V won’t have any sort of “premium pass” or season pass. Players won’t pay for maps or modes, so it’s clear that DICE is cautious after the events after the release of Star Wars Battlefront 2.

DICE will present the updated Battlefield multiplayer on June 9 during EA’s E3 press conference.
