EA announced Battlefield Portal, an all-new, community-driven platform where players can change the rules of war and play on maps from Battlefield’s iconic parts.
Portal will ignore the typical multiplayer mode settings and allow players to mix and match elements from the newest part, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3.
You can, for example, assemble a team of soldiers from Battlefield 1942 and fight against the future soldiers of Battlefield 2042.
The iconic maps are Battlefield 1942’s Battle Of The Bulge and El Alamein maps, Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s Arica Harbor and Valparaiso maps, and Battlefield 3’s Caspian Border and Noshahr Canals maps.
