Battlegrounds Is Going Mobile

Tencent is going to take famous Battle Royale game on smartphones.

A couple of days ago Tencent (which is probably the biggest game company in the world right now) announced that they are planning to release Battlegrounds as a mobile game in China. The new project will be co-developed by Bluehole and Tencent.

Tencent promises that the new game will stay true to the original and will have all the necessary features and core elements. However, there will be inevitable changes, which will most likely make this game less of a problem in legal terms in China.

It should be said that Tencent actually owns and operates a very decent clone of Battlegrounds – Europa. Unlike the original, this game runs on an in-house engine, which allows a number of improvements, including fully destructible environments. You will be able to enjoy the beta of Europa in December. Check out the game’s Steam page for more information.
