Ben Regimbal: Intricate 3D Low Poly Illustrations

Stylized worlds created with the help of 3ds Max and Photoshop.

Ben Regimbal is a game art veteran, who has been around the industry for more than fifteen years. In his free time the artist creates amazing low poly illustrations that can steal your attention for hours: you’ll be looking at all those tiny elegant details amazed like a child.

Ben’s most recent project is called Downtown Life. It is a stylized city filled with busy animals. They work, eat at the restaurants and sleep in the streets.

Look at all those countless details! Artist’s primary tools are 3ds Max, Photoshop and Mental Ray. Low Poly works show that the beauty is not always about modern visuals and effects, it sometimes lies in cardboard-like fur creatures.

The artist has co-founded MilkPresso, a company known for character art, 3d illustration, toy and comic strip. Ben has contributed his art to Ubisoft‘s Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Strategy First‘s Disciples II: Rise of the Elves. He has also been doing some freelance stuff.
