Blizzard Is Hiring for Diablo 4

Specialists are still needed in engineering, art, design, and production roles.

Diablo 4 is arriving in half a year, but you still have a chance to join the developers in Sanctuary. Blizzard is looking for specialists in engineering, art, design, and production roles to work on the RPG.

The studio needs software engineers, designers, technical writers, producers, as well as character, concept, environment, and VFX artists.

Here is an example of what you should expect.

Senior 3D Character Artist

The minions of Hell are growing stronger...

If you're a highly motivated and experienced Senior level 3D Character Artist, then come work with us and help us build something extraordinary.

Our team of talented developers is growing. Our backgrounds are diverse, but we all share a real passion for what we do. We believe that if you’re looking for a tight-knit crew that celebrates self-expression and embraces collaboration, we will be a phenomenal fit for you.

Oh, also, you really like killing demons and getting loot, right?

Stuff We Will Trust You With

Be a force multiplier with your legendary creativity and cunning eye for detail. Do you geek out on technical pipelines, end to end character modeling, and texturing workflows? As part of the outsource character team you will work with concept artists, animators, designers and engineers to create characters, creatures and weapons in the Diablo universe. The ideal candidate understands that character work does not end in ZBrush, and can texture, model and optimize just as well as they can sculpt. We're looking for an extraordinarily dedicated person to come spend some quality time in Sanctuary and descend into the deep dark dungeons of Diablo with us! Your experience in handling character art will help make a lot of gorgeous content.

Your responsibilities will range from sculpting detailed high-poly models and efficient low-poly meshes in a collaborative environment to working in complex 2D and 3D pipelines for the Diablo world to make our Characters look as amazing as possible. You’ll also be working with our Outsource Supervisors to help develop standard processes and mentor others as needed.

Stuff You Are Familiar With

You may wonder what it will take to be successful in this role. Work through technical art production, modeling, texturing, rendering, and UV unwrapping workflows. As well as work closely with the designers, technical artists, and the production team to determine modeling needs and ensuring the character art supports gameplay and performance.

You will also have to provide your portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and possibly complete a test.
