Have you heard about a Blender add-on by Team C called BoxCutter? It is said to be a fully featured Boolean system more powerful than Booltool and Hard Ops combined which is compatible with Blender 2.78 and above.
The thing is that the tool revolves around a unique and different direction presenting something like a useful a slicer. While features and workflows developed in Hard Ops are intended to streamline and speed up the hard surface workflow, Box Cutter is more of a concept of another idea that is too big to be one button in another plugin.
“There is a distinct difference in the results of this tool when used efficiently compared to any other variant of the idea,” states the team.
