The CD Projekt Group, the owner of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red and digital distribution platform GOG, has now become the most valuable video game company in Europe.
This means that the award-winning company that is now preparing Cyberpunk 2077 for the upcoming release is currently larger than the French game company in terms of market capitalization.
Ubisoft is now worth €7,82 billion, while CD Projekt's market value is stated to be set at €8,01 billion. Previously, CD Projekt generated PLN 521 million in revenues and PLN 175 million in net profit in 2019, while Ubisoft reported €416.2 million in revenue in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2019.
Ubisoft plans to release five big-budget productions this fiscal year: Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods & Monsters, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Quarantine, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, and an unannounced title, so we'll most definitely see an impressive performance from the French tech giant.
