Fall is here and game developers start finally pushing out new releases. Today we actually have three awesome games, which every artist has to check out.

Hob

Hob is a new project from the developers of Torchlight 1 and Torchlight 2 – amazing Diablo-inspired action/RPGs. Hob is not actually an RPG. It’s an adventure title, that feels similar to classical The Legend of Zelda.

Hob looks amazing. It’s deeply stylized, it’s got a very neat isometric third-person kind of perspective and it’s full of innovative decisions. For example, there’s no text or dialogue in the entire game. You just move around, check out the world, try to figure out how the hell does it work.

Did we say it feels magical? It does.

Ruiner

1 of 2

Ruiner is a very neat action from an acclaimed team of Polish developers, who helped to build The Witcher 3, Dead Island, Dying Light, This War of Mine, Anomaly, Shadow Warrior, Sniper, Hard Reset or Cyberpunk 2077. Basically, it means they know, what they are doing. The game feels similar to Hotline Miami, but it’s not. It’s an entirely different animal with visceral gameplay and a lot of difficult situations.

1 of 2

Ruiner looks stunning. It’s probably one of the best looking games for cyberpunk lovers. It feels similar to Syndicate and looks a lot like all of those wonderful cyberpunk environments we’ve been publishing recently.

Needless to say, we’re going to buy this thing immediately and try to play it.

Phoenix Point

Phoenix Point is not released yet, but you can already grab a copy. This is a new game from Julian Gollop, the creator of the original X-COM and a bunch of other great games (including hardcore mind-bending strategy Chaos Reborn).

Phoenix Point is another take on the classical ‘spec-ops vs aliens’ formula. You guide a team of fierce fighters, who have to fight colossal monsters in a post-apocalyptic world. The game is going to be very dark and surreal. The enemies will present a real challenge and always hit you unexpectedly. It’s going to be great.

Right now you have an opportunity to buy one of 11 editions. You can go for a simple $30 digital version or break the piggy bank and grab a colossal $4000 ‘Founder Edition’. This baby will grant you the ticket to Snapshot Games (Sofia, Bulgaria) among other nice bonuses. Be sure to check it out!

Hope you’ll enjoy these little pieces. We’ll try to update you on new interesting releases from time to time.
