CI Games, the Polish independent developer and publisher recognized for its work on series like Sniper: Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen, has reportedly laid off 30 staff members across the company. This news comes as the final step in the restructuring process the company initiated in January.
The company told GamesIndustry.biz that this "final, targeted round of redundancies" is designed to streamline its production teams for "maximum efficiency." This move is part of the firm's goal to deliver on its strategic priorities in the future.
However, the company has confirmed that Hexworks, the development team behind Lords of the Fallen, remains unaffected by the layoffs. The team is currently working on Project III, a new survival game which was slated for a 2025 release.
