Cool Reflective Mirrors System Made With Unity

The system was made by Louis Waloschek for an upcoming game about a cute tiny gecko.

Game Developer Louis Waloschek recently unveiled a new demo that showcases a cool system created for The Gecko Gods, an upcoming puzzle platformer with a cute tiny lizard as the protagonist the developer is currently working on. This time, the creator demonstrated a Unity-powered system that allows one to change the angle of mirrors to reflect and redirect sunlight in a lifelike manner. According to the developer, the effect was achieved by baking a low-resolution cubemap of the world-normals and using that to calculate basic n-dot lighting that matches the real-time light.
