You can also book a car to south Auckland airport when travelling home or to your next destination.

Excellent overview of unreal Ray-Tracing stuff, thank you! Any chance you can add the scene to the asset pack?

So what's exactly the advantage? good would be a direct comparison to known renderers

Course: Introduction to ZBrush
6 May, 2019

Have a look at a course from FlippedNormals that will help you quickly get started with sculpting in ZBrush. The course is said to cover all the necessary fundamentals for aspiring artists to get up to speed with the tool. “The course has been tested in classrooms in universities around Europe – before finally being put together as one elaborate training course available to all,” states the team.

The course will teach you sculpting, showing you industry-proven sculpting techniques. What is more, you will discover techniques rarely shown outside of the big VFX houses. “Once you’ve started using these techniques, you will wonder how you ever worked without them.”

The whole thing starts with fundamentals, of course. “The series is structured around going from the absolutely essential moving onto some must-have features which speed your work up significantly. Along the way, we are also covering how to customize ZBrush, giving you a far more enjoyable experience.”

The course covers brushes, layers in ZBrush, and more. Finally, you will see the process of sculpting a troll in real-time and follow every brush stroke. “This gives you a clear foundation in how to sculpt efficiently and in a methodical manner. The approach we show is great regardless of what you sculpt, whether it is characters, environments or anything in between.”

You can learn more and join the party for $39.99 here.
