Custom Motion Blur for UE4

Check out this new pack by Thomas Kole that will allow you to apply custom motion blur to objects locally or scene-wide!

Unreal Engine Marketplace's user ThomasKole released a new pack called Custom Motion Blur. This pack brings high-quality, artist controllable motion blur to selected objects in your scene. It will allow users to simulate fast motion, linear and circular, even in still shots. ThomasKole states, that the pack is suitable for all kinds of real-time projects, including games and motion graphics.

Features:

  • Apply motion blur locally using blur cages.
  • Apply motion blur scene-wide as a post-process effect.
  • Exclude or include objects using DepthStencil values.
  • Unlike native motion blur, effects work even when objects are not in motion.
  • Perfect way to add a dynamic look to still images.
  • Works in deferred (standard) or forward shading.
  • Works with UE4.18 to the latest.
