Cyberpunk 2077 Board Game Hits Kickstarter

Publisher of tabletop games CMON has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the official Cyberpunk 2077 board game. The game is dedicated to street gangs of Night City who fight for the ability to control the city districts.

Publisher of tabletop games CMON, the creator of such games as Zombicide, Blood Rage, The Others, and Rising Sun, has started a Kickstarter campaign for its next project – the new board game set in CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 universe.

The game will be titled Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City and will be produced with the support of CD Projekt RED.

Gangs of Night City will be a competitive board game for up to four players where you'll step in the shoes of Night City's four street gangs who have to fight for the ability to control the city districts. Each gang has a specific skillset and playing as a gang's leader, you'll have to plan wisely to deploy the needed skills to win the game.

Your gang units will include Solos, Techies, and Netrunners who will help you fight and take over a district. Besides, you can hire famous Edgerunners like Jackie Welles, Johnny Silverhand, and Judy Álvarez to lead your gang to victory.

Gangs of Night City will include a game board depicting the city districts, four gang dashboards where you'll manage your gang, about 80 cards (combat cards, opportunity cards, and Edgerunners cards), and more than 100 tokens.

The Kickstarter campaign for Gangs of Night City will last until July 7. Initially, the makers of the board game planned to raise $138,834, but on the first day, they already garnered over $240,000, and currently, the sum they've raised reaches more than $389,000.

Gangs of Night City is set to be released in the summer of 2023 and is priced at $110.
