Something really bad is happening with CD Project Red. Apparently and identified culprits have stolen the early design documents for Cyberpunk 2077. They do not want to release this content yet. Thieves demanded a ransom. Developers are not going to pay. This information is completely official and it was published on the company’s official Twitter.
This might damage the upcoming game to the extreme and potentially harm its launch. We have no idea, how the situation will proceed. The documents they stole were updated, so hopefully they won’t reveal a lot about the upcoming game. Plus, CD Projekt RED is not a new studio, so hopefully they can handle this situation with grace.
