Quantic Dream says that sales of all of its three titles boosted in 2022 compared to the previous year.
Quantic Dream has shared that its adventure game Detroit: Become Human has sold over 8 million copies across PlayStation 4 and PC since its release in 2018. The figure doesn't include copies obtained with subscription services.
The company has announced the new milestone in a press release also revealing that more than 2.5 million copies of the game were sold on PC.
The success of Detroit: Become Human was accompanied by a notable boost in sales for Quantic Dream's previous games, Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain. According to the studio, these titles saw an uptick in sales last year compared to 2021. In addition, the company said that it saw a "record level of 'wishlisting' on these three titles."
"2022 was remarkable for Quantic Dream," said Co-CEO of Quantic Dream Guillaume de Fondaumière. "The continued success of Detroit: Become Human, but also of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, is due to the quality of these titles, their enduring appeal to PC gamers, as well as the thorough and long-term work of our publishing team. We are delighted to introduce our works to an ever wider and younger audience, and on all continents."
