Digital Bros To Acquire Puzzle Quest Publisher D3 Go!

505 Games parent company acquires the publisher of Marvel Puzzle Quest and Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns and obtains exclusive ownership of the Puzzle Quest franchise.

Digital Bros, the parent company of 505 Games, announced it has acquired the publisher of Marvel Puzzle Quest and Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns, D3 Go! for an undisclosed sum.

Last year, the company also purchased the Puzzle Quest developer Infinity Plus Two, so the new deal now allows Digital Bros to consolidate the rights to the entire Puzzle Quest series.

Under the terms of the deal, D3 Go!'s existing titles will continue to operate and will be supported with updates under 505 Games. The company also promised "additional investments in the near future." Digital Bros representative also noted that there will be no layoffs related to the takeover.

"D3 Go! has done a brilliant job bringing some of the biggest Puzzle Quest titles to market, and it was a natural fit for us to welcome them into the 505 Games family, building on our library of owned IP,” said 505 Game's head of Free-to-Play Clive Robert. "This acquisition marks the second for us in only two years as we continue our dedication to growing the F2P business unit and bringing to gamers the best there is to offer – from original games, to powerhouse licenses, and beyond.”

D3 Go! is the company's eight's acquisition. Other studios recently purchased by Digital Bros include the Infinity Plus Two, the UK-based DR Studios, and the Italian Kunos Simulazioni.
