Dontnod CEO Stated That Life Is Strange Is No Longer Their Priority

The studio's new strategy is to focus on their original projects to increase the studio's value.

The French studio behind Life is Strange and Life is Strange 2 Donton decided to distance itself from this series to focus on their IPs. In the interview with IGN, Donton's CEO Oskar Guilbert claimed that the studio is ready to move on.

"Never say never," claims Guilbert. "But for the moment it's not our strategy, yeah. We want to create our own IPs. That's what we want to do."

Guilbert went on to explain that Dontnod's long-term strategy is to build an impressive list of intellectual properties to increase the studio's value over the next few years. According to IGN, Dontnod is currently developing six different projects, one of which is being published by Tencent.
