The game will launch for smartphones and tablets next year.
DICE partnered with Industrial Toys to develop a Battlefield mobile game, EA revealed. The title is set to be released in 2022 and EA noted that they plan to release the game on both smartphones and tablets.
Oskar Gabrielson, general manager at DICE, added that it's being developed as a "standalone game" meant for mobile platforms. It will be completely different from the next part of the series they are making for console and PC. He also added that the experience will be "skills-based."
The title is now being tested ahead of its launch next year.
