In the letter, EA updated fans about the production process of C&C Remaster and shared the news from the audio department. EVA, one of the main characters, will be re-recorded by the original voice actor, Kia Hurtzinger.
When the first release was in the production, the audio department was experimenting a lot to get things to work nicely, taking into account the limitations in technology they had. So the recording was made with the usage of average gear and in the padded closet.
Unfortunately, the tapes with Kia's voice got lost, so the team has to remake the audio for the game, and, Kia agreed to do it again. Luckily, her voice didn't change that much after the years and is still recognizable.
