Their website does say that you can pay per image at $1 per image. I am in the opposite boat though. I could see this having a very significant effect on photogrammetry but I would need to process a few thousand images at a time which would not be very feasible with their current pricing model
To the developers. A very promising piece of software for a VFX supervisor like me. BUT, please reconsider your pricing tiers and introduce a per-image price. We are a pretty large facility, but I can only imagine needing about 1-10 images a month at the very most. It's like HDRI's - we buy them all the time, one at a time. They need to be individually billed so a producer can charge them against a particular job.
Helsinki based game developer Motorious Entertainment announced today it has closed a 500,000 euro seed investment from two Nordic investment companies. Motorious is licensing the world famous Top Gear IP with over 400 million fans around the globe and launching three free to play mobile games related to the series. With three games on the way, the first is aimed to launch on iOS & Android at the end of 2016, with the other two coming in 2017. The Motorious team has a rich pedigree in mobile, console and PC game development with a number of launched titles on their roster, including the FlatOut series, Sega Rally, Ridge Racer Unbounded and Brawl Bolts.
I have been working in various positions in the entertainment industry for twenty years, and I’ve been part of the Top Gear family for the past five years – since 2011 – as Editor in Chief of the Finnish language version of the show. The Top Gear brand is very familiar to me, and I understand the essence of the IP, which is about so much more than cars. Our investors were impressed with how we have developed a game series that fits so well with the world famous IP and with our cooperation with BBC Worldwide, which will grant us valuable access to promote the game in all of the BBC’s Top Gear channels.

The first game with a working title, Top Gear the Road Trip, is slated to launch later this year. The game is a unique casual free to play mobile title that presents some of the most legendary and beloved challenges from the TV show. Players embark on a road trip and play through some familiar favorites, such as launching the Reliant Robin Space Shuttle into space, Amphibious Cars, Car Football and Toyota Hilux Destruction, among others. Casual match three control mechanics enable players to progress on a map from England to France, through the Alps, Italy and onwards on a road trip saga. Strategy, planning and car tuning are essential to win the puzzle races and reach various Top Gear challenge levels. Top Gear the Road Trip challenges are unique action levels where players can try to beat their own records and challenge their friends as well.
