Square Enix revealed that the remake, originally released on April 10, sold 3.5M copies in just three days.
The team revealed the sales figure via Twitter and thanked the FF fans. Please note that the number includes copies both shipped and sold digitally.
It's even more impressive considering the fact the game has only made it one platform so far, PlayStation 4. It's an impressive figure made more so by the fact that the game launched on only one platform, the PlayStation 4. It will make it other platforms after April 10, 2021, once the one-year exclusivity expires.
