Adrian Lazar, creative director on PLANET ALPHA, shared a nice video explaining how the developer managed to finance his indie project. The thing is that there is no magic formula here. The artist doesn’t have a rich family or some capital, so he had only two options: Kickstarter or government support. Kickstarter was not the case this time and he couldn’t get support from the government. What were the alternatives left? The developer prepared a prototype and sent it to game manufacturers.
